Follow these steps to efficiently and safely change the water in your tub.
Tub Takedown
If the water has not been drained from your tub, follow the steps in the Water Change section first.
⚠️ Warning: Avoid placing weight on the inlets while folding.
Begin by folding the long sides of the tub, then the shorter sides, and lastly the inlet face.
Quarterly Maintenance
Perform these steps quarterly to maintain your tub and chiller:
Drain the tub and disconnect it from the chiller.
Prepare a bucket of warm soapy water.
Gently scrub the inside and outside of the tub with a soft sponge brush and soapy water.
Run soapy water through the hoses and rinse with clean water.
Allow the tub and hoses to air dry completely. Avoid harsh scrubbing to prevent damage.
Check the air pressure; refill to 10 PSI if necessary.
Inspect for mildew; clean as needed.
If significant mildew is present, place the tub on breathable material to help it dry.
Refill with clean water and follow the filter cleaning steps.
